Ahmet brings over 25 years of oilfield equipment design and leadership. Prior to iValve Systems he held multiple senior engineering roles at Baker Hughes / GE Oil & Gas: Technology Leader for Shell and BP to develop custom solutions totaling $2B annually, and Engineering Leader for BOPs, Stacks, Mechanical Controls, Connectors, Diverters, Chokes, Risers, and Pulsation Dampeners. In this role he also led two major client technology projects to design subsea Mudlift Pumps for drilling and subsea mining. In 1998, he joined Piper Valve Systems in Oklahoma in its start-up phase, where he designed their compact valve product line and developed the Engineering and Quality departments. He served on the IADC Managed Pressure Drilling committee and several API committees throughout his career, and has been awarded five patents along with several pending patent applications. He earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey, and also holds an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Mike has 40 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, working for Texaco, Gulf Oil, and Chevron, in both engineering and operations positions. Before iValve Systems, he held management positions in domestic and international locations in drilling and completions (D&C), production operations, and HES. During his time in D&C, he worked in deepwater, offshore, and shale basins. His last three roles at Chevron were: GOM Deepwater D&C Engineering Manager, Global D&C Manager - Unconventional Resources (Shale), and Drilling Engineering Manager - Chevron Thailand E&P. Mike served as speaker and panel member at several IADC and SPE Conferences throughout his career. He holds a BSME from Tulane University.
Brooks manages sales and marketing for iValve Systems, pursuing direct sales, partnerships, and collaborative solutions for our products and engineering services. For over 15 years, he led marketing, sales, and operations teams in the Energy industry. Before iValve Systems, he was VP of Business Development for Liquidity Services, a global provider of surplus asset management and sales services to Energy businesses. His client development, marketing, and global sales projects contributed to over $1 billion in Energy asset sales for global operators and oilfield service companies. He also has sales, marketing, and operations experience in petrochemical project control services, business process services, and enterprise software. He has an MBA in Marketing from St. Edward’s University.
